Gator Baseball : 10-0 Blowout Debut

Earlier in the week the Gator Baseball team received their SEC rings including:

departed players -- Tommy Boss, Alan Horne, Jeff Corsaletti, Connor Falkenbach, Justin Tordi and Mike Pete -- returned to campus to collect what they sought during their college careers.
But, now it was time for this new Gator team to get to business on the field. In town was Cincinnati who got the misfortune of facing the Top Ranked Florida Gators. On the mound was Bryan Ball the Gators top pitcher who did not dissapoint. He did not allow a run in his five innings. The bats were also on display putting 10 runs up on board with SS Adam Davis, Matt LaPorta, and McArthur providing the offensive fireworks.

As far as the new defensive alignment of players on the field. Gaski played third, McArthur at second, Davis up the middle. Barton batted leadoff at DH and Woods got the start in Center, LeClerc in RF. Returning to familiar positions were LaPorta at 1B, Dickey in LF, Jeroloman at C.
