Gator Baseball: Perfecto for 7+ innings

Going into this new season, we knew this Gator baseball team had some players capable of putting up some a lot of runs, but their was definitely question marks in regard to the pitching staff. If first impressions mean anything, the pitching is sure looking pretty good.  In just their second game out of the gate, The Gators got another strong performance out of their starting pitcher. Sophmore RHP  Brian Augenstein was perfect going into the eigth inning before surrendering a hit. His pitching line finished impressive in picking up the win with 9 strikeouts, 0 walks, 3 Hits, 2ER . O'Day closed out the game in the ninth but gave up two runs.

On the offensive side, Adam Davis and Brian Jeroloman provided long balls to help in the 10-4 win. This was quite the outing for Augenstein who only has had a limited number of starts in his career at UF.
