Gators await Vols

The Gator basketball team will have revenge on their minds when Tennessee comes to town on Wednesday. Billy spoke about what the Gators can expect in SEC tele-conference call:

"The last time we played Tennessee it was a great basketball game. It really came down to the wire. Tennessee made some plays at the end of the game to come away with the victory. But, both teams played really hard and it was an exciting game. We're excited about the opportunity to play again here on Wednesday."

Despite losing to Arkansas on the road, it was good seeing Tauren Green breaking out of his shooting slump. Sure, the Vols have an edge in the SEC East. But, its all about the tourney. If the Gators can obatin a mental edge going into the SEC tourney with a solid performance you know that might make a difference down the road.

On a side note, JJ Redick topped Johnny Dawkins as Duke's all time leading scorer. Comparing the two players is like comparing apples to oranges. In Dawkins day, their was no 3Pt line. Lets congratulate JJ but make no mistake, Dawkins was the better all around college player.
