It was father and son in different dugouts as Gaski's UNC Greensboro team was in town to take on the #16 ranked Gators.

It turned out to be a pitchers duel as Gators won 2-1 at McKethan Stadium. The Gators got on the scoreboard first on a on a RBI from first baseman Austin Pride who is filling in for Matt LaPorta. Third baseman Brandon McArthur picked up the second Gator RBI in the sixth inning. Spottswood pitched six innings and picked up the win. Edmondson came into the game in the ninth to close out the game, as O'Day is out due to back spasms.
