Despite having one of the tougest schedules in all of college football, high school recruits continue to show up and want to be a part of it. From the Lakeland Ledger, Gators land a stud RB to their stable. Signing day is not until next year, but we just got a verbal committment from Rainey.
Last season, as a junior, Rainey led Lakeland with 1,571 yards rushing and scored 26 touchdowns. Rainey burst on the scene as a top college prospect during his sophomore year, when he averaged 12.0 yards per carry and rushed for 1,780 yards and scored 28 touchdowns.
