You are Matt LaPorta, you are a year removed from one of the most successful college seasons ever, you have an off year mainly because of injuries. You go from a first round pick to one of the last players taken from Gators in the first day of the draft. You're returning to Cape Cod League with a chance to woo everyone again.
If I were LaPorta I say its time to get to work. You take that 14th round money and work just like Piazza did when all these teams passed on you in draft. You work your tail off. I mean, you are with the Red Sox, an organization with alot of history. Your big payday happens when you make it big. You've done everything just about that can be accomplished in NCAA baseball, its time to give up those aluminum bats.
