Some Injury Notes

First, on WR Percy Harvin:

True freshman wide receiver Percy Harvin saw only limited work in practice and his status for Saturday's game remains uncertain.

"He did a little today. We'll do more tomorrow," Meyer said. "A high ankle sprain is a bad deal. It takes time."

Next, on Ronnie Wilson:
redshirt freshman guard Ronnie Wilson probably will not play in Saturday's game, Meyer said.

Wilson fractured his ankle early in the preseason and returned to practice this week on a limited basis.

"He's not ready," Meyer said. "We may try to get him in there a little bit. He's probably out."

Let's hope for some healthy recoveries for both young men.  Wilson will provide more depth for a young offensive line, and of course we all know what Percy Harvin can bring to an offense.

I was a little surprised Meyer made the decision to play Percy against the Cats last weekend, as I felt that he would see the importance in letting him rest up before the gauntlet portion of our schedule.  I did notice him limping after his first touch, and that was disappointing.  I know that high ankle sprains take quite a while to heal and I hope that it heals ASAP.  We need him as an offensive threat.
