Huge Day for UF Sports

In the midst of football recruiting season, there are several Gators sports teams in-season making headlines.  Today several teams will be in action:

#1 Basketball (M) @ Auburn - 5:00 pm
#1 Gymnastics @ Georgia - 4:00 pm
#11 Swimming/Diving (M) vs. FAU - 1:00 pm
#6 Swimming/Diving (W) vs. FAU - 1:00 pm
#2 Tennis (W) vs. UCF - 1:00 pm

The biggest matchup of the day, competition-wise, is the matchup with the Georgia Gym Dawgs in Athens - a consistent conference and national power.  The #1 Gators gymnastics team will have their hands full with head coach Suzanne Yoculan (the "Bear Bryant of Gymnastics" as stated by DawgSports) and the #2 Gym Dawgs.  By the way, the match between the two top teams in the nation is sold out.  Doesn't get much better than that.

The Women's Tennis team is currently ranked #2 in the nation, following a season-opening win over Stetson on Thursday.  They will take on UCF before matching up with #8 UNC on Sunday.

I'll have more on the #1 basketball team later in the day for their matchup with Auburn.  They are once again playing on the road, and the Tigers have upset on their mind.
