Scout is currently reporting that CB/WR Ronald Johnson (Muskegon, Michigan) is headed to USC. The commitment was announced earlier today from his hometown's church.
Pete Carroll made a hard push for Johnson, and apparently did a pretty solid job of getting the kid to come play for the Trojans. There were reports that Johnson's choice was very much up in the air after he scratched Michigan off the list recently.
Florida is left scrambling for corners in this recruiting class. They are very thin at that position with the losses from last season and currently have two solid verbals on the commit list. DeMarcus Van Dyke is listed as a soft verbal to the Gators, and Miami is the probable school of choice for the 4-star corner.
Urban Meyer and his staff more than likely have things under control on the DB front, we'll just have to trust their closing ability on this one.
