The Gators, whether it be football or basketball, have been gracing the cover of the world's most popular sports magazine over the last year. Now it's time for Gator fans to add more to their SI covers collection -- including the above issue which features Corey Brewer (it's their normal weekly issue) and a commemorative issue that celebrates "The Year of the Gator."
I actually picked the commemorative issue up yesterday, and I must say that I nearly got goosebumps checking it out. It's an awesome way to look back on a year that could go unmatched by any other school in the future.

The basketball national title celebration had a huge drawing last night, and turned out to be a great way to send off the six guys who are leaving the Gators next season. For those who missed it, it will be replayed on Sun Sports at noon today. I would strongly suggest checking it out if you have the chance today.

Not everything is beautiful in Gainesville right now, as the Gators baseball team dropped a tough matchup to highly ranked South Carolina, 12-2. The team had won eight straight coming in, but the Gamecocks brought them back down to Earth very quickly. The Gators will have a chance to get payback today at 4 pm at McKethan Stadium.
