Andre `Bubba' Caldwell will have a chance to stretch his legs this year as he moves out of the slot and onto the edge in Meyer's offense. While that likely means fewer chances to run the ball, Bubba will now be the number one target in this offense.
Last season, Caldwell had 57 catches for 577 yards, behind Dallas Baker's 60 catches for 920 yards. But, the Tampa product also had 21 carries for 102 yards. I think it's safe to assume Caldwell will get 60-70 catches with David Nelson and Louis Murphy being the other two receivers. But it's the yardage that will be a mystery. With his speed though, Bubba could easily get 1000 yards. Assuming young Timothy can get him the ball.
