Matt Elam Among 11 Early Enrollees In Gainesville

From the Gainesville Sun;

The latest early enrollees include three of the five UF commitments who played in Saturday's Army All-American Game in San Antonio — cornerback Jaylen Watkins and West Palm Beach Dwyer teammates Matt Elam (safety) and Gerald Christian (tight end). Elam is one of the three five-star prospects who announced for Florida during Saturday's game. The others were defensive tackle Shariff Floyd and defensive end Ronald Powell.

UF's other early enrollees are defensive end Neiron Ball, quarterback Trey Burton, wide receiver Robert Clark (another Dwyer teammate of Elam and Christian), defensive back Jordan Haden, defensive lineman Leon Orr, wide receiver Solomon Patton, defensive back Joshua Shaw and offensive lineman Ian Silberman.

Everyone will tell you that February 3 is National Signing Day and nothing is solid until then. But taking classes is as solid as you can get. The Sun also reports at UF could sign up to 28 players.
