Series History: 55th meeting, Florida leads the series 33-19-2. Florida has won six straight in the series.

Line, O/U: Florida State -3, 51 O/U

I have always believed that some times, the other guy just wins. The 2010 season has been like that for Florida, but when combined with the incompetence coming from our offensive brain trust, it feels much worse.

That is the thick fog blanketing the Gators as they head to Ron Zook Field today. UF was won six consecutive games in the series, but has looked awful for much of this season. Worse is that in a game that they needed to win, against South Carolina, the Gators had their worst performance in the Urban Meyer Era. If they don't show up for a division championship game, why would they show up in Tallahassee?

Meanwhile, FSU win will today if they blitz every down. Send five guys and Florida will crumble. Since week one, Florida has not given John Brantley the time to work in the pocket and is confidence is shot. Jordan Reed and Trey Burton will get a large share of the snaps today, as Florida will deal with defensive pressure by changing quarterbacks, rather than actually changing their protection schemes.

As Florida has dominated FSU in recent years, I have feared the day when FSU finally wins. We're not going to dominate this series forever and we are due for a loss. This year, FSU has momentum and has proven themselves to be a team that can rally and win. Christian Ponder isn't the Heisman candidate FSU fans were hoping for, but he is better than Brantley. And FSU fans actually sold out the game. That said, I still hate FSU and everything associated with that circus college.

Follow us on the twitter @AlligatorArmy as we continue our hatred of Florida State and say a little prayer that our worst team in decades somehow pulls this game out.
