Florida's difficult out-of-conference schedule continues this afternoon at Xavier (8-3).
The Gators (9-3) have not played in a week, as they defeated Radford on December 22, but had their game with Fairfield canceled this week due to Fairfield being snowed in. The Musketeers lost to Gonzaga on the 22nd, and appear to be the much more consistent team this season. Their bad loss was to Miami-Ohio and lost to CAA power Old Dominion. They have not played anyone of the quality of Ohio State or Kansas State, but they have defeated Butler and Wake Forest in the last month.
One continuing storyline that must be ended is the struggles of Chandler Parsons. He has not scored in double digits in five games and is shooting 50 percent at the line. Florida will be a .500 team with a bad Parsons and a team that can win the SEC East with him leading in scoring.
