I won't be around for tonight's Game Thread, because I'm going to be in The Swamp — in the first row in the end zone, as a matter of fact, and wearing a black hoodie. You might see me on TV! Try not to laugh too hard.

This is your game thread for this week's Gators game, which kicks off from The Swamp just after 8:00 p.m. Eastern on CBS. I'm publishing it early 'cause I have tailgating to do, and I know you know how to use it wisely during the afternoon schedule. (Hint: Talk about football.) Florida vs. Alabama schedule and TV information after the jump.

Kickoff Time

8:00 p.m. Eastern

TV and Streaming Information

The game will be broadcast nationally on CBS in HD. It will also be available as an online stream from CBS.

What to Watch For

We've done plenty of previewing this week. Here are our five Gators to watch, five Alabama players to watch, and five things to watch. We also took a look at Florida's defense against Alabama's offense (and also looked at Alabama's defense on film), and SB Nation's Bill Connelly previewed Florida's offense against Alabama's defense.

Game Thread Guidelines

Try to remember that, despite how emotional watching a football game can be, there's no reason to be abusive. Rant, curse, or exult if you must, but keep the personal attacks to a minimum.

Comments with both a subject line and text are much easier to read when scrolling through a thread. Try to keep that in mind.
