The SEC Blog over at ESPN is run by two fantastic authors. Chris Low who is a Tennessee boy and has been there for a few years now, and Edward Aschoff who as we all know just left the Gainesville Sun.

Chris Low today, published an article which ranks the fastest player on each team. He conceded that Jeff Demps is the fastest throughout the entire league, but this article lists all twelve teams in the conference. The list was compiled as he put it, by polling around the league.

As usual though, the comment section became totally unrelated to the article and is just fantastic.

To protect the innocent, I decided not to post the names of the posters. Just the facts...err...comments.

with that offense Fla has they might want to shut down the whole team and play rugby.

I would have had to agree (although not to something that drastic) but Addazio left. Addition by subtraction has been the theme of this off-season, as pointed out by many of members.

I am sorry but UF you would lose every game in the west.

Now I'm pretty sure that we could beat Ole Miss right now, with the offense we have and minus the entire starting defensive line.

WRONG again LOW.... Bradley Sylve will easily be the fastest guy in the SEC this year

I'm pretty sure that Demps has him beat. Sure this kid ran track in high school, but I don't think he ran a 10.01 to set the national high school record either. In fact, I'm positive.

florida will go 6-6 this yr and get absolutely dismantled in 4 games.

With our schedule it wouldn't surprise me if we got "dismantled" in some games. But four of them? I don't think so. There are only four games on the schedule in which that could possibly happen under a worst case scenario. I also don't see a 6-6 record in our immediate future.

in spring games they are suppose to make it easy for the QB and BRANTLESS still went 4-14 hahahhaha

Now I'm not sure about you. But if I was a QB and I saw guys like Sharrif Floyd, Dominique Easley, William Green and company coming after me every snap, spring game or not, I'd be scared.

I'm so glad that Alligator Army, Team Speed Kills and the various other college football blogs that I post at and read aren't filled with such lunacy. Keep up the good work ladies and gents. Even if you are an FSU fan.
