NCAA Outdoor Track Meet Day Two: Postin Scores Point, Wilks Struggles, Claye Does His Thing

Sophomore Jeremy Postin finished in 8th place in the hammer throw with a distance of 66.20m on his first throw. With that throw, he earned 1 point to give Florida 6 points overall and into 9th place at the completion of his event. 

Terrell Wilks struggled in the 200m and finished with a time of 21.04 and will not advance to the final.

Dumisane Hlaselo secured the last overall qualifying spot in the 1500m with a time of 3:49.26 and will advance to the final.

Eddie Lovett had a time of 13.77 in the 110m hurdles and will not advance to the final.

Will Claye is currently third in the long jump with a distance of 8.20m and he still has one jump left.

The rest of the action on Day Two is rescheduled until Friday due to weather.

Dec Jav resumes at 10:30. 4x400m Relay starts at 11.
Men's Long Jump resumes at 3pm.
Men's 10k starts at 4pm.
