SB Nation Conference Re-Draft Project: Florida Taken Second

Wanna change the world of sports? SB Nation's college bloggers are.

So there's this really cool project SB Nation's college bloggers are doing called the SB Nation Conference Re-Draft Project, and Florida, as you might expect, was a top pick, coming off the board second, just after Texas. We were joined in the second round by Penn State, and in the third by Virginia Tech.

The fun part of this project, which I'm now working on with the fine folks at Black Heart Gold Pants, is that the people drafting the conferences can use whatever criteria they see fit. Sure, we have a list of categories hypothetical conference commissioners might use, but we're under no restrictions to use it. If the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (yes, this is what our conference is tentatively named) wants to take Hawai'i because of weather, brah, then we can do that. If BC Interruption's prerogative is to pick teams with pedigrees and reputations for underachieving routinely (Texas, Georgia, UCLA), well, then, so be it.

Jokes aside, this is going to be a lot of fun, and I encourage you to tell me who the Sisterhood should induct next either here or in the comments. Teams like Texas A&M and Miami are still on the board.
