The Florida Gators jumped three spots to No. 12 in both the Week 5 AP Poll and the Week 5 USA Today Coaches Poll after defeating the Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday. The Gators remain solidly in the top 15 and should move into the top 10 by this time next week with a victory over the Alabama Crimson Tide.
The Gators play No. 3 Alabama next Saturday at home in a game that will undoubtedly be one of the weekend's top match-ups.
For those interested:
- LSU is ranked No. 1 (AP) and No. 2 (Coaches)*
- Alabama is ranked No. 3 (AP) and No. 2 (Coaches)*
- South Carolina is ranked No. 10 (AP) and No. 9 (Coaches)
- Arkansas is ranked No. 18 in both polls.
