Florida Gators cornerback Cody Riggs and wide receiver Latroy Pittman are both on the injury report ahead of Saturday's game against the South Carolina Gamecocks. Riggs has been battling a foot injury for a number of weeks now and is unlikely to play against the Gamecocks. Gators head coach Will Muschamp has not announced whether he will redshirt Riggs.
Pittman, on the other hand, injured his knee late in the first half of the Gators' victory over the Vanderbilt Commodores after colliding with Omarius Hines on a running play. So far this season, Pittman has caught two passes for six yards.
Other players that are listed on the injury report include center Jon Harrison, guard James Wilson, left tackle Xavier Nixon, defensive tackle Dominique Easley and linebacker Jelani Jenkins. The Gators host the Gamecocks on Saturday with kickoff scheduled for 3:30 p.m ET. The game will be nationally televised on CBS.
