Florida vs. Georgia: TV schedule, streaming, odds and more

The World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party will serve as a pseudo-SEC East Championship game.

Rob Foldy-US PRESSWIRE

Florida can win the SEC East with a win over Georgia on Saturday. Georgia can pave the road to its first-ever consecutive SEC Championship Game appearances with a victory. Hurricane Sandy's likely to bring winds in excess of 20 miles per hour to Jacksonville. So, yeah, you don't wanna miss this game.

Here's how you can watch Florida vs. Georgia, some series history, and some gambling notes.

Game time, TV channel: 3:30 p.m. Eastern, CBS

Online streaming: Florida vs. Georgia will be streamed by CBS.

Point spread: Florida is favored by 6.5 points.

Series history: Georgia leads the all-time series between the two teams 47-40-2. Georgia led it 43-22-2 before the current 18-4 run by Florida that began in 1990 with Steve Spurrier's arrival in Gainesville. Dawgs fans hate it when you substitute recent dominance for success that only your parents and grandparents remember.

Chomping at Bits seems sort of silly on game days. As always: Talk about any and all of this and/or anything else you have to say in the comments. And let this serve as your College GameDay open thread, too: There's another post going up at noon, and the GameThread will exist at 2:30.
