Chomping At Bits comes stocked with the best Florida Gators links and news we can find. Got a link we should check out? Email us at AlligatorArmy@gmail.com, subject line CAB.
Conor Dwyer, Ryan Lochte take gold in 4x200-meter relay: The two Gators teamed up with Michael Phelps and Rickey Berens and finished 3.07 seconds in front of second-place France. Nice to see Dwyer get a gold medal. (Nick Zaccardi, Gatorsports)
Florida football set to begin fall practice: Jonathan Bullard made it to campus, so that's good. (Robbie Andreu, Gatorsports)
Five storylines for fall camp: You know, the usuals: QB controversy, offensive line questions, turnover margin. (Matt Murschel, Orlando Sentinel)
Dominique Easley named to Ted Hendricks Award watch list: Award for premier defensive end who exhibits leadership qualities, academic success, community contributions and other things. (GatorZone)
Joakim Noah defends Patrick Kane: I love it when my sports worlds collide. I'm a huge Noah fan and a huge Kaner fan. Kaner's been in the news in the offseason for his drunken escapades (possibly choking a woman and saying anti-Semitic things). But Noah came to Kane's defense. Although Noah's "What happens in the club stays in the club" argument is not true, I'm cool with him having the guy's back. He also said Kane is the second- and third-best athlete in Chicago. Just to clarify: I do not support choking women or anti-Semitism. Just so we're clear. (Tom Ley, Deadspin)
