Florida Vs. Tennessee: Gators' Injury Report Includes Jelani Jenkins, Ronald Powell

If Cody Riggs is chatting with Dan Quinn this weekend, it'll be in civilian clothes.

Many of you clamored for a Florida injury report this weekend: Here it is, updated with words from Will Muschamp's mouth via the many folks at his media availability.

Out

Jelani Jenkins had surgery on his fractured thumb and is out against Tennessee, and likely for about a month, though he could possibly return sooner. That still doesn't quite explain Jenkins wearing a sling at Texas A&M, but precautions are precautions.

Cody Riggs suffered a foot fracture against Texas A&M that will not require surgery. He could be out four to six weeks.

Matt Patchan has missed Florida's first two games with a pectoral strain and is still out.

Ronald Powell, expected to be out through at least most of October while recovering from an ACL injury, had a setback in his recovery, and will likely now miss the 2012 season and redshirt.

Questionable

Kent Taylor, who didn't make the trip to College Station because of a concussion, is cleared to play against Tennessee. I'm going to list him as questionable because concussions are really more than one-week injuries.

Probable

De'Ante Saunders' two-week "hamstring injury" has apparently "cleared up," and he should be available against Tennessee.

Mike Gillislee, who left Saturday's win over A&M with an apparent groin injury, is expected to play against Tennessee.

Josh Evans got rocked to sleep by Ben Malena on Saturday. He'll play against Tennessee.

Chaz Green briefly left Florida's 20-17 win over Texas A&M with cramps, but is fine.
