SB Nation BlogPoll College Football Rankings 2012
More after the jump, but you'll notice one thing immediately: No Florida Gators in the top 25, as UF falls out (and falls behind Ohio) after a closer-than-it-should-have-been win over Bowling Green.
Florida's not a top-10 team on anyone's ballot, and, frankly, I can't quite figure why Florida's even No. 11 on Black Shoes Diaries' ballot, the only one to have the Gators in the top 15. (Maybe because Florida actually beat its MAC foe, unlike their Nittany Lions?)
The Gators were ranked on just 35 of the 91 ballots submitted, making unranked their most common ranking; of spots in the top 25, No. 22 was the most popular, with eight voters slotting Florida there.
I can't say I'm surprised by Florida falling in the eyes of bloggers, and not just because blog bro Spencer Hall of EDSBS has been rather relentlessly pessimistic about this Florida team. But I will say that I don't share the Internet's pessimism.
