Florida ranked No. 9/10 in polls: In advance of a road trip for which the Gators will be banged up and a home game less than 48 hours after a road game in Texas, Florida's got the nation's attention again. Whee? (GatorZone)

Outgoing football seniors taking part in all-star games: One of them was sponsored by Casino Del Sol, which I am guessing is a casino. (Scott Carter, Carter's Corner | GatorZone)

Men's tennis breaking in new everything: Good luck, Bryan Shelton. (Max Mattern, The Independent Florida Alligator )

Women's basketball snags big-time transfer: Antoinette Bannister is also a very cool name for an athlete. (GatorZone)

Farewell to a friendly Dawg: T. Kyle King, the fantastic mind behind Dawg Sports, is stepping down as the site's manager. I'll miss him, and SB Nation will, too, but Georgia's 2-0 against Florida since he told me at an SB Nation function in the summer of 2011 that he was sure Florida would find a way to win the Florida-Georgia. So that might be the T. Kyle Kurse. (T. Kyle King, Dawg Sports)
