Chomping at Bits: Trenton Brown's first start could come against Georgia

Lots of things to discuss in this edition of Chomping at Bits. We've got Trenton Brown and Kelvin Taylor possibly getting the first career starts, Cody Riggs talking about targeting and even a little on the greatest football player I've ever seen.

Trenton Brown and Kelvin Taylor could start: I know Andy touched on this the other day in an article, but we could finally see what we've all been waiting to see. I'm so excited for some reason! Also included in this article by Simonton is the tidbit on Tyler Murphy who didn't throw at all during the off-week because of his shoulder sprain. (Jesse Simonton, Miami Herald)

Five waver watch Gators commits: I don't really think the Gators can afford to lose any of these guys. They all play positions where the Gators need help fast. (Zach Abolverdi, Gator Prospectus/GatorSports)

Cody Riggs supports targeting rule: Interesting to note that his father Gerald Riggs, who played in the NFL for a long time doesn't. And yes, his mother doesn't like it either, though that's probably because her son was ejected ten seconds into a game. It's too much of a judgment call in my opinion. (Robbie Andreu, The Gainesville Sun)

The KISS approach: I kinda wish at this point that they'd go with what is probably KISS's best song instead of what it really means. (Robbie Andreu, The Gainesville Sun)

World's Largest Outdoor Infirmary: Saw on Twitter yesterday (or the day before, I can't really remember) about some drinking game every time the words "injury" or "injured" are said on the broadcast. (Jon Cooper, Saturday Down South)

Redskins name change: Can we stop this nonsense now? When the overwhelming majority of Native Americans and the last percentage I saw on ESPN and USA Today was around 90 percent approve of the nickname, why does a small vocal minority care? Move on, get a job ... get a life.

Speaking of the REDSKINS: Sean Taylor's trial is finally starting! Sean Taylor's trial is finally starting! I know it's been going on for a bit now, but man, things move a little slow in Miami apparently. Taylor is still the best football player I've ever seen. And I'm not alone in saying that.

World Series: Go Cardinals! But I haven't really watched much of the MLB Playoffs this year because I feel like the Indians were robbed. Like I've said before, the Rays didn't belong in the playoffs at all. Thank you for continuing to ruin baseball, Bud Selig, even though you're on your way out.

NBA started last night? Didn't know that until just now. When do the Celtics play?
