Florida point guard Kasey Hill left the Gators' Monday night game with Southern after turning his left ankle on a drive to the basket in the second half.
Hill's left foot appeared to come down on a Southern player's foot midway through the drive.

Hill crumpled, and stayed down, yelling and in obvious pain.

Hill would eventually get up, and be helped off the court.

But the early diagnosis does not sound good.
I'm no lipreading expert, but believe I just lipread "high ankle sprain" from the trainer on the bench. We'll see what Donovan says post gm.

A high ankle sprain might put Hill out of commission for a month or more — which leaves Florida, a team without a natural point guard when Hill is off the floor during Scottie Wilbekin's suspension, in dire straits when it comes to ball-handlers and creators.
Billy Donovan will assuredly update Hill's condition after tonight's game, and we'll have that update as soon as it comes.
