Florida's D.J. Durkin, Brad Lawing, and Joker Phillips have contracts, salaries released

Florida's three new assistant coaches will all make over a quarter of a million dollars per year to be on Will Muschamp's staff.

Florida released the details of the new contracts signed by its football assistant coaches D.J. Durkin, Brad Lawing, and Joker Phillips on Friday. Spoiler alert: They will all make a lot of money to coach the Gators.

Durkin, promoted to defensive coordinator after Dan Quinn's departure for Seattle, will make $490,000 in 2013, according to ESPN's Mike DiRocco. His contract runs through 2013, according to The Gainesville Sun's Robbie Andreu

Lawing, who moved laterally from South Carolina to Florida to replace Quinn as defensive line coach, will make $390,000 annually according to DiRocco, with his three-year deal running through 2015. He also received a $50,000 signing bonus, and will be paid a $50,000 retention bonus if he remains on staff after the 2016 season.

Phillips, who spent 2012 at Kentucky in his final year as the Wildcats' head coach, comes to Florida as Muschamp's wide receivers coach and recruiting coordinator. His contract will pay him $260,000 and runs through 2014.
