This is the — well, an, at least — official Florida football preview video, and it is freaking tremendous. There is stirring music, great archival footage, a couple of Mick Hubert's best calls in "DOERING'S GOT A TOUCHDOWN!" and "Run, Fred, run!", Ike Hilliard's stop-and-pop, a Keiwan Ratliff sighting, the incredible 2006 throwback uniforms, just the right about of rah-rah stuff from Tim Tebow, and a sense of swirl that mixes the heritage of the Gators with the bright future.
Words really kind of get in the way here, and there's no reason you should be reading them and not just watching that video on loop if you're on this page, but this much is clear: Someone who is very good at his or her job created this video, and we should be very thankful for that.
Just 39 days, y'all. 39 days until all this is part of our lives again.
