Andre Debose tears ACL and will miss entire 2013 season

The Gators' senior wideout will miss the entire year after tearing his ACL in last night's practice.

Andre Debose will miss the entire 2013 season with a torn ACL that he suffered in last night's practice. We'll have more on the story later today as I apologize for the lack of an extensive piece at the moment.

Gator Country was the first to report Debose's injury, with Florida confirming the report shortly after its release. The full link to the GC article is available here.

Debose was reportedly having the best off-season of his career and was figuring to provide a lot of offense this fall as a go-to receiver, not to mention his ability to take any kickoff to the house. Those plans have unfortunately changed. Debose will have the option to apply for a medical waiver, if he so chooses; if he gets one, and it is accepted, he'll be able to play next season.

We certainly wish Debose all the best and a speedy recovery.
