Gators defeat Georgia, 72-50: Just a few more notes on the game courtesy of At the Buzzer. (Chris Harry, GatorZone)

Gators set school record home win: The Gators' 25th straight home win came on beard night. I like it. (Kevin Brockway, The Gainesville Sun)

Early enrollees look to make quick impact: I can handle waiting on skill position players for another three weeks or so, but the most important part of all this is that three offensive linemen have already enrolled in classes. (Morgan Moriarty, The Independent Florida Alligator)

Five takeaways from the 2013 football season: My opinions on most of these issues are already well known on here, so I won't go about dissecting this point-by-point except to say that I think the Gators were a much more dirty of a team under Urban Meyer (who I don't miss at all) than Will Muschamp. (Neil Shulman, In All Kinds of Weather)

Christin Mercer arrested: Mercer was arrested for her part in an alleged home invasion in May of last year. She was released over the weekend and is apparently the second-leading scorer on the women's basketball team. (Adam Silverstein, Only Gators)

Jordan Reed and Caleb Sturgis honored: Both players were awarded a spot on the NFL's All-Rookie Team. (Zach Abolverdi, GatorSports)

If Twitter is your thing: If you're interested in following a bunch of Gators, the hashtag is #GatorFollowTrain. (Jonathan Arnholz, The Independent Florida Alligator)

Australian Open: Tennis is back! Now can someone go and beat Djokovic and Serena? Thank you. Also, wouldn't it be nice to get paid the same as someone else for like sixty percent of the work? Start playing tennis.

Greatest TV Dramas: Please take note in that the vast majority of you will disagree with my list as television dramas aren't really my thing. Kind of like sci-fi or fantasy stuff, just not really for me. Most of my list is going to be history related as that's more my thing.

  • 1) Rome: HBO's best ever show.
  • 2) Entourage: HBO's second best ever show.
  • 3) Conviction: NBC's best. I still can't believe this show only lasted one year.
  • 4) Hell on Wheels: AMC's best ever show.
  • 5) The Americans: Probably the best show currently on TV.

Just missing the list are shows like The Walking Dead, Boardwalk Empire, The Sopranos, Game of Thrones, Justified, Southland and a few others. I do want to say that I just don't see the attraction of Breaking Bad and Mad Men, though the former is better than the latter.
