Tim Tebow's Super Bowl ad: I don't love praising advertisers, but kudos to whatever firm said "You wanna advertise no contracts, and Tebow sounds like T-Mo" to T-Mobile, then delivered this ad. There are two different 30-second spots I'm sure we'll see after the Super Bowl, too, but they're just the component parts of this 60-second spot being billed as a Super Bowl ad.

Takeaways from Thursday: You're not gonna believe it, but Brockway was perturbed by Florida missing free throws. (Kevin Brockway, Hoops Scoop | The Gainesville Sun)

Damian Prince inspired by great-grandfather: Really good feature on one of Florida's biggest remaining targets. (Jared Shanker, ESPN)

Will Yeguete thinks Gators can get better on defense: He's right. (Richard Johnson, Gator Country)

Women's hoops wins second straight: Carlie Needles got hot from deep and shot down Alabama on Thursday. (GatorZone)

Nate Irving is kind of strange: Broncos linebacker plays Pokemon and other video games, gets writeup in the WSJ because it's Super Bowl week. (Stu Woo, The Wall Street Journal)

Your Gators moment of zen: It's Brian White hinting at Damian Prince's official visit this weekend.
