Florida vs. Jacksonville, Game Thread: Short-handed Gators look to continue winning ways

No Kasey Hill? No problem, at least against Jacksonville.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The bad news for Florida's Sunday game against Jacksonville (broadcast on ESPN3)? Yet another Gator unavailable for a game.

But while not having Kasey Hill is a bad thing — yes, really, Kasey Hill skeptics — and playing Chris Chiozza as Florida's primary ballhandler will probably negatively impact the Gators, it's not the end of the world.

Especially because — good news! — Jacksonville is terrible.

The Dolphins are 2-8 and their two wins are against non-Division I competition; against D-1 teams, Jacksonville hasn't been closer than five points in any game, despite once going to overtime ... and much of JU's competition has lingered near the bottom of the KenPom rankings.

So have the Dolphins: They're 345th entering this contest, and likely to be the worst team Florida plays all year.

No matter who is holding down the point, the Gators should win by many points today.
