Four-star wide receiver C.J. Worton completed one of many flips from Florida State to Florida in the 2014 recruiting cycle on National Signing Day, pledging to the Gators in a commitment ceremony at South Dade High School.
"For the next four years of my life, I will be attending ... the University of Florida."
Worton had been a longtime Florida State commit up until last week, when a tweet sent prior to an official visit taken to Florida and the visit itself prompted him and the 'Noles to part ways — possibly mutually. And though West Virginia made a late run at Worton, Florida was the favorite to land him from the moment he decided to take an official visit to Gainesville.
Worton is the younger brother of UCF receiver J.J. Worton, who dazzled in the fall of 2013, and has the tools and drive to be a very good receiver at the college level. He joins Ryan Sousa as the second wide receiver commit in Florida's 2014 class, and should be Florida's last commitment at the position for 2014.
