I just can't shake it, for whatever reason.
I know Florida's a better team than UCLA; a season's worth of results has proven that close to empirically. I know the things UCLA does well, running and shooting, are things that Florida does a damn good job of preventing. I know that UCLA hasn't seen post defense quite like Florida's, even from Arizona, and that the Bruins are "hot" right now because they played significantly inferior teams in their first two games.
And yet I can't shake this fear that Florida's walking into a trap.
Maybe that trap is a 9-2 run or something early on. Maybe it's a halftime deficit. Maybe it's just Florida having to tough out a game late. Maybe it's nothing at all, and the Gators will be great all night and dominate the Bruins.
But I'm not gonna be able to breathe regularly until about midnight. This, too, is part of being a Florida fan.
Please join me in my next five hours of hyperventilation. Or don't; that's fine, too.
