Here's the video of Florida's Senior Day ceremony, in case you felt like crying even more today.
The song choices, you'll note, are absolutely perfect, so good that I assumed they were the players' own until I asked and was told that video editors were responsible.
- Casey Prather gets Rich Homie Quan's "Type of Way" because all he does on the court is make you feel some type of way.
- Scottie Wilbekin, the only Gainesvillain on this team, gets Drake's "Miss Me," because he probably does hope that we'll miss him a little when he's gone — as if there's any chance we wouldn't.
- Will Yeguete gets the rubbery lunacy of "Turn Down For What," perfect for a player without an OFF setting and a person who I can't even imagine not smiling.
- And Patric Young finishes with Jay Z/J. Cole collab "A Star is Born," and specifically with Cole's verse, because he's finally become one.
And the person responsible for Pat's montage beginning with a free throw deserves a raise.
No prizes for not crying, y'all.
