After a week off, the Florida Gators track and field teams head to Baton Rouge and Stanford for the LSU and Payton Jordan Invitationals.

Returning from a week off from competition, the Florida Gators track and field teams are back in action this weekend as the teams will split up and head to two different meets. While the No. 1-ranked men's team will stay intact at the LSU Invite in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the women's team will also send three athletes to the Payton Jordan Invite out in California.

The vast majority of Gators will be at the LSU Invite which begins today at 10:30 a.m. ET and will continue until about 4:00 p.m. ET. A schedule of events is available here (PDF), but remember to adjust your times accordingly because of the time zone difference.

The one-day invite will be scored by Delta Timing and you can follow all of the postings online at their website. Live video of the LSU Invite will be handled by Geaux Zone and I believe a subscription is required to view the non-highlights video portion.

Becky Greene, Cory McGee and Agata Strausa will head to Stanford, California to participate in a few events. The three of them will all run in the women's 1,500m albeit in different sections. McGee will run in section one, Strausa will run in section two and Greene will participate in section three.

The three of them will be in action on May 4th. You can follow all the action courtesy of GoStanford.com and/or FloTrack if you're a member. The three Gators will see the track between 7:35 p.m. ET and 10:35 p.m. ET according to the schedule of events (PDF).

With only two weeks remaining until the SEC Outdoor Championships, crunch time begins now for the track and field teams. As a reminder, the SEC Championships will be held in Lexington by the University of Kentucky.
