Chomping at Bits comes stocked with the best Florida Gators links and news we can find. Got a link we should check out? Email us at AlligatorArmy@gmail.com, subject line CAB, or find us on Twitter at @AlligatorArmy or on Facebook at Facebook.com/AlligatorArmy.

Patric Young drawing NBA interest: With the NBA Draft set to begin tomorrow, Young is set to see his name called. (Gary Smits, The Florida Times-Union)

Scottie Wilbekin works out for Magic: The former Gator ended his pre-draft visits by saying that the Orlando Magic would be the perfect landing spot. We'll see on that. (Edgar Thompson, Swamp Things/Orlando Sentinel)

Billy Donovan coaches up some champions: Donovan's team won the U18 FIBA Americas tournament on Tuesday, boosting his record to 19-0 when coaching in international competition and giving Billy his third straight championship. (Kevin Bockway, The Gainesville Sun)

Winning the recruiting cure-all for Gators?: The answer is a no because recruiting is 20 percent (roughly) of the battle when it comes to building a successful football team. (Luke Stampini, GatorBait/247Sports)

Thomas Holley interview: Holley seems like a very nice young man and hopefully his career here is very successful. (Joe Kozlowski, TDdaily)

Practice fields getting a makeover: Sadly though, they're not beginning work on an indoor facility. (Scott Carter, GatorZone)

Mike Pouncey has hip surgery: He'll likely miss the start of the season as a result. (The Gainesville Sun)

Wimbledon: Good start to the tournament.

World Cup: The USA is in very good shape. They'll be just fine.

ESPN's 30 for 30: I've been watching a few of those every week for the past month or so. For some reason I just want to watch them all. They're all extremely good and well put together.

Top five 30 for 30:

  • 1) Pony Excess: Probably the best-ever college football story.
  • 2) Without Bias: I am fully in the belief that if Len Bias makes it to the Boston Celtics, Michael Jordan and his Chicago Bulls never make the run they do.
  • 3) 9.79*: The biggest track and field story, ever. It's not even close.
  • 4) The Two Escobars: Just in time for the World Cup, right?
  • 5) The U: I bet it was fun as hell to be a Miami Hurricans fan in the '80s and early '90s.

Just missing the list: Fab Five, June 17, 1994, Once Brothers, The Announcement, Charismatic, Tim Richmond: To the Limit, Small Potatoes, The Guru of Go, 40 Minutes of Hell, Legend of Jimmy the Greek and Ghosts of Ole Miss.

Which reminds me: Hail to the REDSKINS!
