Chomping at Bits is a little late today and makes up for it by talking about Jeff Driskel, Mike Summers and lists the most important games of the season.

Jeff Driskel heads to Manning Passing Academy: Driskel left the academy last year with praise and was the breakout candidate for a lot people entering last season. Whether or not that happens again remains to be seen. But it's obviously now or never. (Scott Carter, GatorZone)

Mike Summers draws praise: Even though it's from former players, this has to be good. Sort of like former Gators giving the thumbs up to Kurt Roper's offense, right? (Zach Abolverdi, The Gainesville Sun)

Safety recruiting board: Just based on his size, Jamal Peters is the most attractive but I guess he's not really looking to leave the state of Mississippi. (Andrew Spivey, GatorCountry)

ESPN Stats and Info: According to the "stats" the Gators have a 8.9% of beating Florida State and will enter the game as a nearly three touchdown underdog. (David Ching, SEC Blog/ESPN)

Most important game: Per ESPN, it's Georgia. We'll have more on this in a moment. (Greg Ostendorf, SEC Blog/ESPN)

Chandler Parsons gets paid: Whether or not the Houston Rockets match the offer sheet or not, Parsons will be cashing some nice paychecks over the next three years. (The Gainesville Sun)

Speaking of NBA free agency: Yawn.

ESPN Body Issue: I just don't get it. What am I missing?

World Cup: Good for Argentina and Germany. But for the final: "Vamos, Vamos, Argentina!"

Top five most important games: ESPN says it's Georgia...

  • 1) Florida State: It always is. Recruiting being the No. 1 reason.
  • 2) Georgia: If Muschamp wants to stick around, he's going to have to beat UGA sooner rather than later.
  • 3) Alabama: We get to see nearly right out of the gate how the Gators match up to a top team.
  • 4) LSU: Just to shut the AD up.
  • 5) Tennessee: Going for ten.
