Linebackers are in sync: Antonio Morrison and Michael Taylor are ready to form a great duo. Morrison is down twenty pounds and feeling more comfortable while Taylor is playing with speed. (Richard Johnson, The Florida Times-Union)
Backup quarterback role still up in the air: So who will be named first? The backup quarterback here or the starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns? (Jesse Simonton, Miami Herald)
Most wanted remaining defensive recruits for 2015: I'm a fan of all of them and I think the Gators have a good or decent shot with all of them. My only issue is with safety Tim Irvin. He's 5'8" and 182lbs. That's way too short to play safety. (Andrew Spivey, GatorCountry)
Kurt Roper impressed by Chris Leak: Coaching the big picture. (Scott Carter, GatorZone)
Gators preseason special begins tonight: It'll air for the first time tonight after the Tampa Bay Rays' game and then like six more times (mostly on Sun Sports) over the next week and a half. (GatorZone)
Scottie Wilbekin to play in Australia: Found a spot. Good for him. (Kevin Brockway, The Gainesville Sun)
Former Gator Marcus Gilbert gets paid: A six-year, $30 million contract. (Scott Brown, ESPN)
Little League World Series: It's awesome every single year.
Mike Ditka: He's great.
Lay's potato chips: We've talked about them before, but...
They've got four new flavors and we rank them:
- 1) Bacon Mac & Cheese: Yes, sir. In a runaway.
- 2) Cappuccino: It's good, but weird coming in the form of a chip. So it's odd.
- 3) Wasabi Ginger: I'm not the biggest fan of wasabi, mostly because I don't think it's all that hot and/or spicy.
- 4) Mango Salsa: Just way too much mango. And I love mango. It's probably my favorite fruit.
