Season opener again: After a draining (ha!) season opening weekend, the entire program is ready for Saturday. (Jesse Simonton, Miami Herald)

Why the Idaho game wasn't played on Sunday: A great explanation of what goes in to a football game and what it takes for a team that is traveling across the country. (Scott Carter, Carter's Corner/GatorZone)

Scouting Eastern Michigan: For what seems like a year straight, the Gators will be playing a team with more wins than they have. (Robbie Andreu, The Gainesville Sun)

Florida a "DB School": According to a 2016 cornerback we are and I'm totally OK with that. (Andrew Spivey, GatorCountry)

2016 TE a fan of Kurt Roper and his offense: Naseir Upshur, who is from Philadelphia, reached out to the Gators a couple of weeks ago because of Roper. He plans on coming down to Gainesville soon. (Andrew Spivey, GatorCountry)

Gators are hungry: Look Shabazz, food everywhere! (Robbie Andreu, The Gainesville Sun)

Heisman watch: Todd Gurley looks amazing this year. (ESPN)

Conference power rankings: The SEC extended its lead after Week 1. (Sharon Katz, SEC Blog/ESPN)

2014 Ryder Cup: Just over three weeks away!

ISIS: Wow.

Off-brand sodas: Are amazing.

Little Debbie: As many of you know, I live in Chattanooga. The McKee Bakery is just outside of Chattanooga. I know quite a few people who work there. It has its benefits.

Moonpies: Also in Chattanooga. See above.

Top five Little Debbie snacks:

  • 1) Christmas Tree Cakes
  • 2) Swiss Cake Rolls
  • 3) Fudge Rounds
  • 4) Nutty Bar
  • 5) Zebra Cakes

Actually, scratch that. I'm not even sure that's correct. After the Christmas Tree Cakes, which are my No. 1 far and away, everything else is 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d ... etc.
