It's been nearly two weeks since the Florida Gators last set foot on the court in the O'Connell Center, and their Saturday home game against the Arkansas Razorbacks (1 p.m., CBS and CBS Sports Live) doesn't come a moment too soon.
Florida will have to contend with the high-octane Hogs, whose up-tempo offense ranks among the top 25 nationally, and with imposing forward Bobby Portis, the most NBA-ready player in the SEC ranks who doesn't play for Kentucky. A lanky backcourt led by deadeye shooter Rashad Madden is also likely to be trouble for Florida's undersized point guards, especially the diminutive Chris Chiozza.
But Arkansas has not been as good on the road as at home, one of the long-standing truths about the Razorbacks program. And this team's road loss at Tennessee and close call at Missouri should give Florida — a seven-point home favorite — high hopes of pulling down a win in the O'Dome on this Saturday.
