No Will Grier. A one-game losing streak. Who cares?
When the Florida Gators take on the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday at EverBank Field, it's for just about as valuable a thing as can ever be up for grabs in Jacksonville: A clear path to the SEC championship game.
The Gators, now being led by Treon Harris, will try to deal the Bulldogs their third loss in four games. If they do that, they will all but assure themselves a date with the SEC West champion in Atlanta.
It's a chance for the Gators to re-establish themselves as one of the best teams in the country after a disappointing loss at LSU. An opportunity for this defense to remind everyone that they are a dominant force that offensive coordinators fear. A first time for Jacksonville to bear witness to Jim McElwain's Florida.
And as the above video notes, all Florida has to do is get off the mat.
