College football rankings: Florida jumps to No. 11 in AP Poll, No. 12 in Coaches Poll

The Gators fly up the rankings.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

After their win over (former) No. 5 Ole Miss, Florida has shot up in the Week 6 USA TODAY Coaches Poll, vaulting from No. 23 to No. 12.

It's a huge jump for the Gators, and a deserved one at that. They dominated on Saturday, and are squarely in the conversation to be one of the top 10 teams in the entire country. As a result of their defeat, Ole Miss dropped down to No. 13.

The Gators also made the poll's largest jump, moving up 11 spots.

Future Florida opponents also moved around in this week's poll, with LSU moving up to No. 5, Florida State edging up slightly to No. 8, and Georgia dropping down to No. 16 following their blowout loss to the Crimson Tide, now ranked No. 10.

The Gators also flew up the AP Poll as well, jumping from No. 25 to No. 11. In the AP, LSU moved up to No. 8, Florida State dropped to No. 12, and Georgia plummeted to No. 19. We'll add in the full poll as soon as possible.

Do you think the Gators are accurately ranked? If not: We have a poll for that.
