Noon-vember rolled on as the Gators played their second noon game in a stretch of three today. Florida traveled to Columbia to face South Carolina, their final regular season SEC opponent, in their final regular season road game. The Gators defeated the Gamecocks 24-14.
Here are our picks for today's viewing windows now that the Gators have won:
Afternoon (3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Eastern)
Alabama at Mississippi State (3:30 p.m., CBS): The Bulldogs are quietly 7-2 and will look to upset the Crimson Tide at home. 8-1 Alabama is coming off a dominating win over LSU that vaulted them to #2 in the most recent playoff committee rankings.
Miami at North Carolina (3:30 p.m., ESPNU): North Carolina is 8-1, with their only loss coming in a turnover filled game against South Carolina on a Thursday night to start the season. Since then, the Tar Heels have been rolling, and just put up 66 points on Duke last week (in football!). Since firing Al Golden, Miami has won two straight by "beating" Duke and holding on for a win over Virginia. Both teams are alive in the ACC Coastal race.
Evening (7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Eastern)
Arkansas at LSU (7:15 p.m., ESPN): It seems like this one always gets weird. Moved from its traditional Thanksgiving weekend slot for the second year, the battle for the golden boot could be an interesting one. Leonard Fournette and company will be looking to rebound after their loss to Alabama and Arkansas comes in on a three game win streak, during which they have scored over 50 points a game.
