College football rankings: Florida drops to No. 15 in the Coaches Poll

The Gators tumbled down the polls after a disappointing loss.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

In the most unsurprising news of the day, the Florida Gators dropped from No. 9 to No. 15 in the Coaches Poll, following their 27-2 loss at the hands of the Florida State Seminoles. The Gators were tied for the second-largest drop in the Coaches Poll, dropping down six spots (Michigan dropped seven spots).

The Gators ended up getting jumped in the Coaches Poll by No. 7 Stanford, No. 8 North Carolina, No. 9 Florida State, No. 11 TCU and No. 13 Northwestern.

Elsewhere in the SEC, Alabama is at No. 2, Ole Miss is at No. 17 and LSU re-enters the Coaches Poll at No. 23

You can view the whole Coaches Poll here, and we'll have the pull poll listed here as soon as possible.
