This Florida Gators team has fought their way into this SEC Championship Game. It hasn't been easy, and it's been ugly at times, but this team has been tested, this team has survived, and this team is ready. The Gators will take on the Alabama Crimson Tide in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Ga. on Saturday (4:00PM ET) with the chance to be named the champions of the SEC.
It's no secret that the Gators are the underdogs in this one. But championship games don't care about what the odds say, or what the schedule says. When it all comes down to one game for a shot at glory, the past is irrelevant. The Gators are fired up and ready to go, and will give Nick Saban and Alabama everything they can handle.
With Demarcus Robinson returning to the field, the Gators will have the means to do some damage in the air. If they can bottle up Derrick Henry and force Jake Coker to win the game through the air, this ferocious Florida defense could put this team in position to pull the massive upset.
No one knows how to win quite like Batesy, so who better to get this team and this fan base fired up for for the biggest game of the season? As the former linebacker says, "we've worked way too hard to just step off that bus, and just go in and get our participation ribbon."
The Florida Gators have a history built on championships.
Let's go get another one this Saturday.
