Thomas had been considering Florida along with Alabama down until the final days, even sending a Snapchat Wednesday morning of himself with National Letters of Intent from both schools, but the Gators weren't able to bring him to campus for a final visit last weekend, and, well, it's hard to beat Alabama on the recruiting trail without having a baked-in advantage.
