Mike Horton flips to Auburn from Florida on National Signing Day 2015

It's not that shocking a switch.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Three-star offensive lineman Mike Horton of Atlanta has flipped his commitment from Florida to Auburn and signed with the Tigers, as first reported by Justin Hokanson.

Horton, who committed to Florida under Will Muschamp last July, took a final official visit to Auburn last weekend, and had been one of Florida's shakier commits since Muschamp's firing/release/departure/whatever, though he did visit Florida in January.

But Horton's departure coming this early in the morning — it's still not yet 9 a.m. Eastern time — gives the Gators plenty of time to scramble on National Signing Day in hopes of finding an interior lineman to replace the hulking Horton, who stands 6'4" and weighs better than 300 pounds. (Horton could also end up playing defensive tackle at Auburn.)

Horton's decommitment drops Florida to 15 commitments in the 2015 class, but with the bulk of the Gators' targets still yet to announce, that figure could rise, and in a hurry.
