Tyree St. Louis stays with Miami instead of flipping to Florida on National Signing Day

Florida will have to rebuild its line with other players.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

IMG Academy offensive lineman Tyree St. Louis has decided to stay with his commitment to Miami instead of flipping to Florida, the Academy announced through a tweet so cool that I have to link to it instead of embedding it. (Really, go click that.)

St. Louis had visited Florida last weekend, but the four-star prospect was considered only an outside shot to flip to the Gators, after committing to Miami over them last summer and keeping that commitment through the 2014 season.

What's more, St. Louis's decision may signal the end of the Gators' strikeouts on National Signing Day. Of the six prospects with scheduled announcements still considering Florida, all six are projected by both the 247Sports Crystal Ball and Alligator Army to commit to the Gators.

And despite the rather dispiring beginning to the Gators' day — dotted by painful losses to Auburn and former coach Will Muschamp, and a couple of big misses on offense — an afternoon hot streak could very well save this Florida class.
